Amborella has to be the coolest florist in Calgary. They design beautiful bouquets wrapped in repurposed burlap. But that’s not all, they use all the newest tech to their advantage offering an online store, floral subscriptions, workshops and wedding bookings.
Originally, Amborella had a successful e-commerce website built in Squarespace. But as the business grew, so did their need for more custom functionality. That’s when they engaged with us to redesign and rebuild their website using WordPress and Woo Commerce e-commerce framework. For the design, we took inspiration from all the different colours and textures you’d come across in their southwest Calgary store. Equipped with a fresh new design, and all the new custom functionality, online sales doubled in the first year after launching the site.
